1. What exactly do you do?
I help you figure things out in Lexington when you don’t have time (or energy)
to dig through pages of search results. You tell me the problem, I research local
options, and then I send you a short, clear summary with the best picks and what
I’d choose if I were you.
2. Is this only for UKY students?
No. I work with anyone in Lexington, but a lot of UKY students use SnapSolve for
things like finding gyms, storage, housing, phone repair, or affordable services
around campus. If you live, work, or study in Lexington, you’re good.
3. How fast do you respond?
Most of the time, I respond the same day. If you submit late at night, I’ll answer
the next morning. If you’re in a rush, just say so in your message and I’ll let
you know if I can meet your deadline.
4. What kind of problems can you solve?
Anything that starts with “What’s the best option in Lexington for…” is my lane.
That includes:
- Gyms near UKY that match your budget
- Off-campus housing areas and options
- Car repair, tire shops, oil changes, etc.
- Dentists or doctors with reasonable prices
- Storage units, movers, junk removal
- Phone screen repair and quick fixes
- Cheap places to eat or grocery shop
- Weekend ideas, date spots, study spots
If it’s legal and reasonable, I’ll at least tell you what I can and can’t do.
5. How much does it cost?
I keep it flat and simple:
- $15 – small questions or quick lookups
- $30 – 3–5 researched options with a recommendation
- $50 – bigger, more complex decisions
I’ll tell you which tier your request fits into before you pay anything.
6. How do I pay?
Once we agree on the price, you can pay using:
I’ll send you the exact handles/links in my reply. You can also see them on the
Payment page.
7. Do I pay before or after?
You pay before I start, but only after you know:
- Exactly what I’m doing for you
- What it costs
- When I’ll have it done
No auto-charging, no subscriptions unless you ask for a monthly plan.
8. Can I get a refund?
If I can’t deliver what we agreed on for any reason, I’ll refund you.
If you change your mind after I’ve finished the work, no refund—but I will
happily clarify anything that’s confusing or add small adjustments for free.
9. Is this subscription-based?
Not by default. Most people use one-off requests for $15, $30, or $50.
If you want ongoing help, I do have monthly options you can ask about on the
Services page, but you’ll never be auto-enrolled.
10. Why not just Google it myself?
You absolutely can. The people who use SnapSolve are usually busy or tired
and don’t want to spend 45 minutes in 12 tabs comparing reviews, prices,
and locations. I cut through the noise and send you the few options that
actually make sense for your situation in Lexington.
